IHIF EMEA 2025 Terms & Conditions
The Registration fee is payable in advance.
Event tickets include: access to the live event (including conference sessions, documentation, refreshment breaks, lunches and evening receptions as detailed in the programme); a subscription to the IHIF EMEA 2025 networking and event platform (including networking opportunities, access to sponsors booths, details of speakers, schedule and exhibitor floorplan); a subscription to Hospitality Investor newsletter; and access to selected on-demand conference sessions after the event.
If you cannot attend the conference we are happy to accept a substitute colleague for the full event ticket and access to the IHIF EMEA 2025 networking and event platform at any time if received in writing 72 hours prior to the originally scheduled conference start date.
Cancellations received in writing 6 weeks (42 days) prior to the originally scheduled event date will receive a 50% refund. If paid in full you will be refunded 50% of the ticket price. If unpaid the invoice will be re-issued for 50% of the ticket price, the cancellation fee.
We regret that refunds are not possible from 6 weeks prior to the originally scheduled event date but we are happy to accept a substitute colleague any time if receive it in writing at least 72 hours prior to the originally scheduled 2024 conference start date.
In the unlikely event that a speaker cancels, every effort will be made to find a replacement speaker of equivalent experience.
For security reasons photographs will be required to accompany your registration.
Non-attendance is subject to full payment.
The organiser reserves the right to reject and/or cancel registrations at their discretion.
Questex reserves the right to cancel a participant’s place at any time and for whatever reason (including without limitation cancellation of the Event) on repayment of the Registration Fee, or whatever proportion of the Registration Fee it has actually received, and this repayment shall be in full and final settlement of any claims against Questex by the participant relating to his/her place at the Event.
In addition to any other termination rights set forth herein, Questex reserves the right to cancel, rename or relocate the Event or change the dates on which it is held. If Questex changes the name of the Event, relocates the Event to another facility and/or city, or changes the dates for the Event to dates that are not more than 90 days prior or 180 days later than the dates on which the Event originally was scheduled to be held, no refund will be due to you, but instead, your paid registration shall be automatically assigned to such rescheduled Event, and you expressly agree to such assignment.
In the event that Questex is unable to organise the physical event, we reserve the right to transfer your registration to a virtual pass with access to virtual event content and to the networking and event platform. Paid delegates will receive a refund in the amount of the difference between their paid registration to the live event and the virtual pass value as deemed suitable by Questex.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and each party irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
These Terms and Conditions, together with the registration form, constitute the entire agreement of the parties and may be executed by electronic signature. The participant hereby waives any and all rights to dispute the validity, legality or enforceability of such method of execution as evidence of the existence of legal relations pursuant to this agreement for the purposes of proceedings issued in respect of their terms. In entering into this agreement, the parties have not relied on, and shall have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, warranty, understanding, promise or assurance (whether negligently or innocently made) of any person other than as expressly set out in this agreement. Each participant shall be deemed to have full knowledge of the Terms and Conditions and shall be bound by them in all respects.
These Terms and Conditions may not be modified, amended or rescinded, in whole or in part, except by written amendments signed by both parties.
To the full extent allowed by law and insofar as it is reasonable to do so, the participant agrees not to hold Questex liable for any damage or loss suffered or incurred by them during the course of the Event, including consequential (i.e. losses which are not incurred as a direct consequence of the Event leading to any claim) or indirect losses or loss of profit, through registering for the Event, attending the Event, alteration of the Event schedule, cancellation of the Event, or any error or omission on the part of Questex.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions the participant warrants that he is attending the Event in the course of his or her business and indemnifies Questex and its staff and agents against all or any loss or damage, injury, actions, proceedings or claims arising from any act or omission of the individual during the course of the Event.
Participants are responsible for taking appropriate insurance coverage in connection with their attendance at the Event. Where the individual participant is travelling to attend the Event, the organiser recommends procuring the appropriate travel insurance and in advance of any travel or travel bookings.
Photographs/videos will be taken at the Event by an official photographer/videographer, which may be used in post-Event publicity and on future marketing materials. By completing and submitting the Booking Form, the participant consents to the official photographer/videographer taking such photographs, which may feature the participant and/or his/her guests, and the use of such photographs/videos as described and, where applicable, undertakes to ensure that all of his/her guests attending the Event are made aware of the use of the official photographer/videographer and consent accordingly to their photograph/video being taken as described. If the participant or any of his/her guests do not want their photograph/video to be taken or used in this way, Questex must be notified prior to the Event.
The views expressed by any speaker at the Event are representative of the speaker’s own opinions and cannot in any way be attributed to Questex. Questex disclaims any liability for views expressed by any speaker at the Event.
Questex is not liable for the content of any entertainment provided. Questex has taken reasonable checks to ensure that it is appropriate for the Event.
Where tickets/admission documents for the Event are posted to the participant, the risk in the goods shall pass to the participant upon the items being posted to the address given by the participant.
In the event of any behaviour by any individual deemed inappropriate, at the sole discretion of Questex or the Event venue operator, individual may be refused entry or asked to leave and excluded from the Event without refund or compensation.
Reasonable security searches at the Event venue will take place.
The details of the Event shown in any material supplied by Questex to the customer are correct at the time of printing but the participant shall be responsible for checking with Questex that no alterations have been made. In connection with participation in any wellness, physical or offsite activities taking place as part of the Event, the participant assumes all risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that they may experience or incur. The participant hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless Questex LLC, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. The participant attests that:
- They will participate in these activities at their own risk and Questex LCC and/or host venues and third-party suppliers are not liable or responsible for any injuries/accidents which may occur
- If they have any health problems or are unsure about their physical ability to participate in these activities, they have sought advice from a doctor before participating
- They will adhere to any health and safety measures outlined as part of the activities
By submitting their personal details, the participant agrees to Questex processing those details in accordance with the purposes made known the participant at the time of collection and Questex’s privacy policy which includes, but is not limited to, inclusion of details on the delegate list which will be passed to sponsoring companies and attending delegates. Confirmed registrants will be included in the official IHIF networking and event platform. Should the participant not wish his or her details be included in the platform and/or the attendee list, please email [email protected]. Questex shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation, any successor legislation or other applicable law.
